There are paranormal collectors who specialize in one aspect of paranormal energy whereas others are open in their collecting choices.

It is a wonderful hobby because it encompasses many & excludes no one willing to participate.  It does not require a specific age, gender, background, ethnicity, income, religious subscription or lack thereof.  You can be anyone and enjoy the benefits of being a paranormal collector.

As a collector you realize that you are rescuing artifacts that would otherwise be left to another fate.  Those who collect for the paranormal value & not the face value see the beauty in the invisible imprint left behind by a person or event.  Being a part of history in that way makes your connection & relationship to a paranormal artifact unique & special.

There is an intoxicating pull to being a paranormal collector; once you catch the bug it’s hard to stop.  You begin to see everything around you in a new way & it opens doors you never dreamed existed.  For those who love a good mystery or who love to explore & discover the unknown paranormal collecting is a goldmine.

Positive energy is derived from an event or person who’s left behind a happy, kind, gentle, silly, lovely, endearing, or otherwise good energy.

Examples of this would be:

* loving & romantic energy attached to wedding bands
* joyous energy attached to a baby blanket used to bring a newborn home
* happy, sexual energy attached to an article of clothing or bed
* spiritual energy left on articles used for happy, religious or spiritual practices
* energy left behind by a person who was jovial, funny, gracious, or possessed personality traits that made them an overall, happy person

Dark energy is derived from an event or person who’s left behind a foreboding, scary, unhappy, tragic, repulsive, frightening, unsettling, or otherwise negative energy.

Examples of this would be:

* an artifact used in the commission of a crime
* tools or materials used in torture, prison, or war
* things created by a person to invoke an emotional or mental response of an unsettling or upsetting nature
* energy left behind by a person who evil, unstable, unhappy, disturbed, or possessed personality traits that made them an overall, unsettling person

Neutral energy means there is no positive or negative energy associated with it.  There exists either a balance between positive & negative energies which neutralizes either from coming through stronger than the other, or the event through which the paranormal energy was attached possesses no positive or negative influence, rather a purely paranormal energy of no preference.

Examples of this would be:

* funeral or cemetery artifacts
* items that have been used or touched by numerous people
* daily or lifestyle items that were incorporated into a household
* items created by nature (gemstones, minerals, herbs)

Now that you know the different types of energy, how would you apply these artifacts into your life?

The level at which you collect will likely vary throughout the time you are actively a paranormal collector.  There will be times when you are just a casual collector & times you are an aggressive collector.  This is not unusual because most people take on items that complement their lifestyles, their goals, their home, & their current interests.

A: Collecting haunted artifacts appeals to many people for a variety of reasons. Communicating with the deceased lends assurance of & interaction with an afterlife.
Collecting haunted artifacts enriches one’s life via interaction with the former-living as they exist in the metaphysical realm. Many collectors enjoy that incredible rush of sensory processing as they experience these spirits whirl in & out of their lives; each time gaining power & knowledge in a most paranormal manner. Some collectors enjoy an eccentric lifestyle, taking pride in being different. This personality type likes owning things their friends do not. Q: How does someone in the spirit realm interact with the physical world?

A: This is the single most difficult question to answer pertaining to this field of science. The best answer I can provide is that it appears that the path of least resistance for transitions to and fro the metaphysical realm for humans is via physical objects. Objects to which people assigned significance to, as well as objects in close proximity of places of death seem to become paranormal “lightning rods”. This beautifully complex universe is clearly difficult to completely abandon-even after death.

Q: What exactly is it like handling a haunted object?

A: There is no “exactly”. Just like haunted places, the experience varies widely by person and season. That is, there are many variables both known and unknown at work. For example, a person of high metaphysical sensitivity holding an artifact of intense saturation at the right time would be a vastly different show versus that of a person of low sensitivity with a mildly energized object at an off time. Experienced collectors know that the longer they interact with influenced items, the greater the number opportunities become available for paranormal experiences. In other words, spend time each day over a span of time touching, listening, and interacting with your collection for best results. These practices will also increase your sensitivity to such things. Like any skill or ability, metaphysical perception and sensitivity need exercising. The “use it or lose it” rule applies here.

Q: What is the difference between Dark & White energy?

A: Dark energy (-) is often paranormally drawn to objects associated with tragic, negative events the former-living experienced while living on Earth. Artifacts directly related to causes of death are particularly good conductors of metaphysical energy. Rage, desperation, addiction, jealousy, etc. are incredibly powerful human emotions in this world, and translate to the metaphysical with equal fortitude. Items of this class can present a collector with a wide range of circumstances and experiences from breathtakingly overwhelming to mildly disturbing. Just as most events in life, each person can garner from it individually and accordingly.

In contrast, White energy (+) flows into objects associated with the most positive, peaceful, morally just, fulfilling, uplifting, empowering, and comforting sensations & visions. Items of this class can offer collectors extraordinary spiritual powers of perception, knowledge, focus, comfort, & healing. I always gain a massive positive spiritual “boost” when I include these items with deep meditation. I cannot imagine life without these extra-sensory stimulations.

Q: How can I tell if an artifact is providing White or Dark Energy?

A: Be it known that there is no way to classify an artifact as Dark or White based upon what the object is. For example, one piece of jewelry might channel Dark energy while a similar one channels White. The determination of which influence it has can only be gained by experiencing the item first-hand over a course of time. This is the only way to accurately and honestly match items with collectors.

Q: Can such items harm me by paranormal means?

A: Although it is unlikely that an influenced object would harm you physically, there are many claims of such events. I personally have never been injured by a haunted item. I will admit to advanced paranormal entities disturbing me both physically and psychologically, albeit temporarily.

Knowing when to say when is ones best defense against such situations. Always remember that the influence on your mind & body by paranormally-charged energy is proportional to your distance from it. When or if things seem to be getting out of hand, set the object down and back away. Let things settle. I have determined that we citizens of this physical world are ultimately more powerful than our spiritual guests.

Q: I am interested in paranormal collecting. Where do I start?

A: First, I suggest deciding which energy type White (+) or Dark (-) is right for you. Next, one should determine the degree of influence desired. Do you want an overwhelmingly potent experience or do you prefer easing into things with a lightly-energized object? Also considered should be the level of commitment one wishes to invest. There are spirits desperate to communicate for multitudes of reasons-these reasons are important to them; ignoring their invitations for too long is as counter-productive as it is disrespectful. In the same sense, happenings can be just incredibly awesome when nurtured and attended to. Potential collectors must find reputable sources for artifacts and information- and seeing as you are here, you have at the least accomplished that. With respect, serious collectors should not be influenced much by the “Hollywood” versions of things. Movies cannot reproduce the true experience accurately enough to be used for serious reference.

A: Unknown. I have personally experienced quite a variety of haunted artifacts, and never cease to be impressed by their diversity.

A: For the most part, yes. As the passage of time advances on an object, the more stable, reliable, and efficient a conduit it becomes.

Q: You are a Master of Dark Arts, so you know everything about paranormal people, places, and things, right?

A: Admittedly no. I find myself learning daily. I have always hoped that after finally experiencing the full circle-life and death-that I might understand it all. On the other hand, I have dedicated my existence to learning, researching, and experiencing all things paranormal. Therefore, I do know a great deal. I thoroughly enjoy sharing my knowledge, guidance, and experience with others. Humanity has examined the supernatural for as long as history records yet it remains mysterious.
